Languedoc

Languedoc is not an obvious destination. More known for its busy beaches near Montpellier and its fine vineyards, it actually hides the best trails I've ever ridden. It's not hard to find outrageously technical descents, and whilst the climbs are significant, they're not killers like they can be in the high mountains. You want cross-country rides which will test your bike handling? You want Languedoc.
