Scarpa Brenva Boots

Scarpa Brenvas

Scarpa Brenvas

These boots are stiff 3-4 season mountaineering boots, similar to the current Scarpa Manta boots. They have a Vibram sole with crampon lugs; the boots are rated B2 crampon compatibility. Outers are reversed leather.

I have used them about five times for British hillwalking. I bought them with an eye to doing some ice climbing as well, but it's something I've never got around to doing. They're too stiff for long distance walks, but very good for steep, technical routes. The crampon compatability obviously makes them good winter boots.

They are size 46 (roughly a UK 11) and have some minor scuffs on them but these things will last for years and years yet.

They were £160 new, I'll take £65 ono.
